This October, we began our soft launch of Sowing the Seed: Fruitful Conversations on Religion, Culture, and Teaching. You’ve encouraged our team to keep this thing going.
We’re with you! We hope you’ll stay with us for our grand launch in January.
Thanks to a grant from Elizabethtown College, we are able to hire a student assistant who’ll not only help with the logistics of our magazine, but also to create unique content for our social media channels.
We also have some exciting guests who’ve agreed to write for the magazine and join us on our podcast, Broadcast Seeding.
And that’s not even the half of it. But here’s the thing…we need you!
Here’s how you can help:
- Teachers, your undergrad and grad students are working on awesome projects on religion, culture, and social difference. Why not have them publish it or excerpts here?
- Scholars, respond to some of our student contributors. Come model the best of academic discourse with today’s learners.
- Help us help you. You’re working on projects and courses. Let’s talk about it on Broadcast Seeding. The show’s all about germinating better ideas. It’s a great way to think aloud and promote your work.
- Spread the word. We want to get to 150 likes on Facebook by New Year’s Day. Can you and your friends get us there? Share Sowing the Seed with your friends. And don’t forget , we’re on Soundcloud at Sowing the Seed and on Twitter and Instagram @Seedpods.
The world needs deeper discussions of religion, culture, and teaching. We’re going to do our best to provide it, and we want you to join us!
Till Next Time,
Richard Newton, PhD
